Amber Dawn (Davis) Dees, age 25, of Corinth, Mississippi and formerly of Ripley, Ohio, gained her wings on Thursday, November 27, 2014, surrounded by her family at home. She graduated from Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School in 2008 and went on to graduate from Maysville Community College in 2010. Amber was born February 15, 1989 in Maysville, Kentucky the daughter of Jerry and Missy (Bowling) Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by grandparents – Charles Riddle, Linda Riddle, Judy Davis and Kenneth Bowling.
In addition to her parents, Amber is survived by her husband Justin Dees; her beautiful children – Savannah Himes (age6), Adison and Jase Dees (21 months); grandfather – Gary Davis of Ripley, Ohio; grandmother – Shirley Dees (moomoo)of Corinth Mississippi; father in law – Dale Dees (Tammy) of Michie, Tennessee; mother in law – Milissa Taylor Buford of Corinth, Mississippi; two sisters – Nickie Benjamin of Ripley, Ohio and Crystal Osborne (Jason) of Columbia, Tennessee; one brother – Jerry Davis of Ripley, Ohio; godparents - Rudy and Madola Frank of Cincinnati, Ohio; honorary sister – Jesika Dees; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends that she adored.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Shinkle’s Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio.
