Fama Jeanette Baldwin, 89, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
Born in Salem, Va. Nov. 24, 1916, she was a homemaker and a member of the Green River Chapel General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nanabelle Craver; her husband, Horace Baldwin; one son, Ronald K. Wimbish; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, E. Curtis Wimbish of Miami, Fla. and Michael J. Wimbish of Reston, Va.; three daughters, Patricia G. Howell of Wellborn, Fla., Ruth Lile of Central City and Veronica L. Granville of Herndon, Va.; two sisters, Anna Cobb of Winston Salem, N.C., and Nancy Faith Murphy of Roanoke, Va.; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at Tucker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jewell Martin officiating. Burial followed in Forest Grove Cemetery in Browder.
