Kathleen Agnes Denton passed away peacefully on July 17, 2006, surrounded by her family. Kathleen Agnes Duggan was born May 27, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph Duggan and Gertrude (Curley) Duggan. She was raised in the flatlands sections of Brooklyn. In April 1946 she married Paul Joseph Denton, they celebrated 60 years of marriage in April 2006. Kathleen was an avid reader of both history and mystery stories. She was extremely proud of her ability to finish the NY Times crossword puzzles. She had considerable talent for drawing, sketching and crafts which she passed on to several of her children and great grandchildren. Kathleen was very active in Resurrection Parish where she taught the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine for many years. She also enjoyed vacationing in Vermont, England, Ireland and the former Soviet Union, as well as touring the United States. She was active for over a decade in the Holly Twig for the benefit of United Hospital. Kathleen was predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her husband Paul. She was a caring mother of Paul, Kathleen, Christine, Elizabeth and Stephen. Adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, today, 3 to 7 PM and Thursday 3 to 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Resurrection Church, Friday at 10 AM.
