Tim A. Stout, age 43, of Manhattan, died March 28, 2006, at Mercy Regional Health Center from natural causes.
He was born March 31, 1962, in Salina, Kansas, the son of Billy R. and Doris A. (Weis) Stout. Tim lived in Salina until 1976 when he moved to Manhattan, and then moved from Manhattan to Oklahoma in 2002 until February 2005 when he returned to Manhattan.
Tim graduated from Manhattan High School and then attended Kansas State University for 2 years.
He worked as the property manager for Regency Realtors for 16 years, was a Human Resources Administrator for Sykes Enterprises in Manhattan for 4 years and then 2 years in Oklahoma. He had also worked as the general manager for the Chickasaw Tribe overseeing the construction of the casino and motel complex for 10 months and then he was the Regional Human Resources manager for Lowe's.
Tim was a member of the Human Resource Network in Manhattan, had served as a Red Cross Volunteer in Kansas and Oklahoma as a CPR and first aid instructor, and was a member of Kiwanis in Oklahoma.
Survivors include his father, Bill Stout and his wife Lorraine of Manhattan; his mother, Doris Williamson and her husband Ray of Salina; one brother, Terry Stout of Manhattan; two sisters: Tammy Zeedyk and Toni Klinger both of Salina; two step sisters: Janice Wheeler of Leon, KS, and Terry Norris of Manhattan; and his close friend Christopher Higgins of Manhattan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Manhattan with Reverends Jim Reed and Moon-Hee Chung officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday at the Roselawn Cemetery in Salina, Kansas, with Reverend Nancy Crowl officiating.
Family and friends may call anytime Saturday or Sunday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research. Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
