The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Brown, of near Newville, while the bride is a daughter of Mrs. C.W. George, of Newville.

Ida May Brown, 73, formerly of Creek Road, Newville, died Friday at Carlisle Hospital. She was living with her daughter Marie Koontz, RD4 Newville, prior to her death.
She was a retired employee of the Manor Presbyterian Home, Newville.
She was the wife of the late W. Earl Brown.
She was a member of the First Church of God, Newville, and a member of its Sunshine Class.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by three sons, Clarence A. Brown, RD4 Newville, Marlin 0. Brown, RD2 Newville, and Harold W. Brown, Carlisle; two sisters, Mildred Baker, Harrisburg, and Mary Ray, Carlisle; three brothers, Ira George, Oakville, Wilbur George, Lemoyne, John George, Dayton, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Frank C. Egger Funeral Home, 15 Big Spring Ave., Newville, with the Rev. Paul E. Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Newville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
