She was a resident of Kansas City,Missouri for over 35 years.
Ruthea was married to the late Thomas Barber of Atlanta,Georgia.
To their marriage of nine children were born.
Four of the nine children proceeded her in death.
Ruthea professed her faith in God at an early age at St.James AME Methodist Church. Ruthea later became a member of Grace Tabernacle Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Her love,Strength,Faith and Dedication was an inspiration to everyone she knew.

Cause of death...she died in her sleep.
