After locating several obituaries for Martha (Keaton) Sharp, her death date has been discovered to be May 10, 1913. All three obits give the same date and there are other statements contained within which confirm that fact. Since the Bible notation made by her grandson, Herman P. Sharp was made 53 years after the fact, it's likely that the obituaries are the most accurate. Herman stated that she died in Nowata, OK in April 1913 and was buried in Elk Falls, KS beside her husband. This is signed and dated by Herman on Sept 11, 1966. Fact: she did die in Nowata, OK while visiting her son, Edward Lee Sharp. I'm not aware of any headstone.
At the time of Martha's birth, Mercer Co. was in VA but now in West Virginia.
