Bertha Roone Baxter
Artie or Chief as he liked to be called was a co-worker of mine years ago. He was a rough and tough sort of man with a good heart. As rough as Artie could be he would always go out of his way to help me. He had reminded me so much of my grandfather. I think it had to do with their Navy background. Artie and my grandfather were both Chief Petty officers and were very set on doing things their way aka the right way, the Navy way.
