FALLEN TIMBER – Dennis C. Caber, 63, of North Hills, Fallen Timber R.D., died at his home today at 2:45 a.m.
He was born in North Hills June 7, 1912, a son of Calvin and Blanch [sic] (Waite) Caber. He was a member of the former EUB Church in Allemansville. He was a retired coal miner and custodian for the Glendale School District.
He is survived by his wife, the former Geralding [sic] Simmers, and the following children; Kenneth C. of Altoona; Gary W. of Coalport R.D.; Bernard A. of Fallen Timber R.D.; Darrell C., at home; Mrs. Marjie Mallin of Houtzdale, Mrs. Donna Hockenberry of Blandburg and Mrs. Nancy Kruis of Glasgow. Six grandchildren also survive.
One sister, Mrs. Myrtle Parson [sic] of Bellwood also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Friday Nov. 21, at 2:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Allemans. The Rev. Donald E. Bailor will officiate and interment will be in the Oak Rose [sic] Cemetery, Allemans.
Friends may call at the Plass Funeral Home in Glasgow from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
