He spent his life in northeastern Colorado. Graduated from Woodrow High School. He farmed with his family and later worked for W.R. Grace Co. in Lucerne and Kersey until he retired. He was active in the Young Republicans and the Good Times Car Club. He loved sports, especially the Colorado Avalanche hockey team and Special Olympics. He also had a passion for family histories. He attended the Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Greeley. He married Donna Stallings on Nov. 4, 1967 in Greeley, Colorado.
