Aberdeen - Audrey Rose Leitholt, 53, of Aberdeen, died Friday, April 14, 2006, at her residence. Funeral service with communion will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1015 N. Highway 281, with Reverend Tony Haglund officiating. Burial follows at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street, Aberdeen, and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Audrey Rose Leitholt was born May 30, 1952, at Miles City, Mont., to Edward and Rose Marie (Mackin) Leitholt. She attended school in Aberdeen and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1970. After graduating from Northwest College of Commerce in Huron, S.D., in 1971, she began working at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, and continued her employment there until 1975. She then became employed at Mother Joseph Manor in Aberdeen from 1975 until 1978. Audrey then started her career at 3M, where she was employed at the time of her death. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and served as the Chairperson of the Altar Guild. She was also a member of the 3M Club and was an avid bingo enthusiast. Audrey especially had a dear love for her two toy poodles, Sissy and Lacey, who captured much of her spare time. Her memory lives on with her brother, Lyle E. (Kathy) Leitholt of Columbus, Ind.; her sister, Jane (Don) Hall of Bridgeport, Texas; her godsons, Scott Woodward and Cody Merkel; seven nephews, Cody Leitholt of Austin, Texas, Jim Cavanaugh of Jersey City, N.J., Rick Keating of North Bend, Ore., Mike Woodward of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Steve Woodward of Wildwood, N.J., Dan Woodward of Temecula, Calif., and Rob Keating of Keller, Texas; and one niece, Patricia Virgil of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Rose Leitholt and one sister, Judy Cavanaugh. Casket bearers will be Cody Merkel, Cody Leitholt, Rick Keating, Jim Cavanaugh, Mike Woodward, Steve Woodward, Dan Woodward and David Bergjord.
