Helen Olive (Sparks) Brown (1904-1973) was the daughter of Luther Arthur "Jack" Sparks (1880-1948) and Zilphia Arnold Sparks Anderson (1883-1977).
Helen's elder sister was Ruby Lee Sparks (1899-1980). She mar. Roberts Bateman Pond Sr. (1897-1953), and had one son, Roberts Bateman Pond Jr. (1924-2006). No burial location has yet been located.
The girls' parents divorce proceedings continued from some time before August 1901 and the divorce finalized in December of 1905. They were raised by their mother, and step-father, George Anderson.
