MRS. LOUISE DUNCAN, NATIVE OF COUNTY, IS CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Louise Duncan, 50-year-old Clay County native, died today in the Freeman-Greene County Hospital in Linton. Ill the past nine months, Mrs. Duncan had been in critical condition since going to the hospital two weeks ago. Mrs. Duncan was born in this county on June 13, 1901, the daughter of Stanley and Polly Bennell Van Horn. She lived in Coal City many years before moving to Jasonville with her family. She had been a member of the Coal City Church of Christ 34 years. Surviving are the husband, Rassie, employed by Maumee Collieries; one daughter, Miss Betty Duncan, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Miller of Howesville and Mrs. Eva Fulk of Coal City. The body was taken to the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home at Clay City. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
