Reva Mae Smith, 97, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center of Richmond.
She was born June 4, 1917, in Estill County to Matt and Martha Gabbard Brandenburg, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the widow of Alden Smith, who passed away in 1997, and was of the Christian faith. Mrs.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Woods and Effie Eden; five brothers, Carl, Elbert, Edward, Ezra, and Fred Brandenburg.
She is survived by three nieces, 11 nephews, a special great niece, Sherri Eden, and a special first cousin, Janie B. Gudy, of Lexington.
Visitation at Oldham, Robert & Powell Funeral Home, Bro. Elmer Thomas will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
