James J. "Blake" Blake, 71, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 while in his home with family.

Blake was born in Madison, GA on January 20, 1943, to the late Albert and Essie Mae Blake. He was the widower of Eva Blake.

Blake's relatives and friends will miss his wit and humor. Blake left an unforgettable impression on all whom he met.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, three children, and eight grandchildren, one sister, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Carl Moreno; two sisters and their husbands, Agnes Conor (John), Evelyn Williams (Charles); and one brother, Albert Blake Jr.

A home-going service to celebrate Blake's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in T.J. Baker Funeral Home, 222 N. Front Street, Reading, PA 19601. Friends may call at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at the Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Rd,. Fleetwood, PA.
