WIDOW OF INVENTOR

MRS. LILLA A. SLEEPER, 4829 Fifth Street South, widow of FRANK H. SLEEPER, inventor of factory equipment, died yesterday in a local hospital. She was 93 years of age.
MRS. SLEEPER was born in Canada and moved here 33 years ago from Worcester, Mass. Her husband who died here in 1937, was an active inventor until his death, and designed and patented more than 500 different machines. He was the founder of SLEEPER & HARTLEY, INC., in Worcester, builders of mill equipment.

MRS. SLEEPER was a member of the St. Petersburg Republican club, and a former member of Mirror Lake Lawn Bowling Club, Snell Isle Woman's club and the local Garden Club.

Survivors include three daughters, MRS. RAYMOND RUSSELL and MRS. LOTTA BLOUNT, here; MRS. WILLIAM WELCH, and a sister, MRS. GEORGE JOHNSTON, Fitchburg, Mass.

She married FRANK HENRY SLEEPER December 04, 1883 in Coaticook, Barnsford Twp., Quebec, Canada, son of WRIGHT SLEEPER and PHILINDA COLE. He was born November 26, 1862 in Coaticook, Barnston Twp, Quebec, Canada, and died November 04, 1937 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida.
