Excerpt--Raymond R. Sisler, 68, of Independence, died Aug. 3, at his home. He was born on Aug. 3, 1911, at Corinth, a son of the late Roy and Pearl Harsh Sisler. He was a retired coal miner. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Garnet Born Sisler; five daughters, Mrs. Janet Bragg of Gladesville, Mrs. Becky Cress, Mrs. Delores Turner and Mrs. Linda Smith, all of Independence, and Mrs. Doris Born of Reedsville; three sons, Rex, Robert, and James, all of Independence; a step-mother, Mrs. Flora Sisler of Grafton; 14 grandchildren; one sister, one brother; and five half-sisters. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Agnes Hileman. Burial was in the Masontown Cemetery.
