OBITUARY: South Bend Tribune: March 9, 1930: Funeral services for Joseph Wroblewski of 222 N. O'Brien st, who dropped dead about a block from his home while taking his morning walk Saturday will be held Tuesday morning in St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mr. Wroblewski was a well known musician on the west side, having been a cornetist in the Z. B. Polish Falcons Bank. He was born in South Bend, Jan 13, 1871 and had spent all his life here. Surviving are his widow, who before their marriage on May 30, 1892 was Miss Mary (K)Japsa; six children, Mrs. Hattie Falda of Chicago and Mrs. Clara Kruck, Mrs. Geneieve Popczyski and Ted, Sylvester and Joseph, Jr. all of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Slawski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Wroblewski had been employed as a painter by the Singer Manufacturing company.
