John P. Otto, eighty-one, 625 New Green St., died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a ten day illness. The husband of Rebecca C. Ecker Otto and a son of the late Jacob and Catherine Dapt Otto he was a lifelong resident of Lancaster. He retired in 1950 after 17 years as a polisher with the Safe Padlock Co. He was a member of Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church and of the Foresters of America. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Agnes M., wife of Samuel B. Reitzel, Lancaster and Anna C., wife of Robert B. McComsey, East Petersburg. Ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph J., of Emmaus, Pa., also survive.
