Mildred Marie Stydahar
SHINNSTON — Mildred Marie Stydahar, 80, of Enterprise, passed away at Golden Living Center, Morgantown, on Friday, October 3, 2008.
Mrs. Stydahar was born in Enterprise, on April 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Steve Erden and Vena Fincham.
On January 14, 1967, she married the late George Stydahar.
Mrs. Stydahar has four siblings, Carl C Erden, of Townsend, MT, Lillie Solobzian, of Fairmont, John Erden, of Enterprise, and JoAnne Erden, of Enterprise; one aunt, Maude Nicholson, of Vienna, OH; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Ahearn, of Bowie, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Green and Mary Little.
Mildred was a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church. She graduated from Shinnston High School, and then later from the Martinsburg Beauty Academy. She then started Mildred’s Beauty Shop, where she worked as a beautician until she was 70 years old.
A graveside service will be held at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2008, with the Rev. Arlie Parrish officiating.
