"Deborah Jean Perisho, nee Golden, age 58, a resident of Winfield, IL, died Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born November 25, 1956 in Franklin, IN.

Debbie graduated as Valedictorian from Whiteland High School in Whiteland, IN. She was active in the marching band and 4H and was also an avid dancer. Debbie attended Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science Degrees in Mathematics. She was the head majorette in the Purdue Marching Band. Debbie met her husband, Greg, while attending Purdue Graduate School. Debbie began her career in education at Noblesville High School in Noblesville, IN, where she worked for 20 years. She was the Director of Technology at Glenbrook High School Disctrict #225 before returning to the classroom at Elgin Community College. Most recently Debbie was the Math and Science Coordinator at the Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg. Debbie was a member at Gary United Methodist Church where she was active in the music program. She played in the handbell choir and accompanied the men's and women's choruses. Debbie also was a member of a Chicagoland handbell choir, The Agape Ringers, where she had been a member for 13 years. Her love of music included piano and organ in addition to the handbells. Debbie's hobbies were quilting, gardening, playing card games and playing with her Keeshond dogs.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 29 years, her cousin, four nieces and nephews, her step-mother and her step-siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Janie Golden.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Road, in Creve Coeur, MO.
