Allen was the son of Allen Beebe. He married Ellen Mary Jane McCullom on 8 January 1896 in Rutland, Humboldt, IA. They were the parents of Fern, George, Marvel, Bliss, Asaph, and Elwin.


March 25, 1938 - Humboldt Republican - A.E. Beebe, sixty-five years of age, and a lifelong resident of Humboldt, was found by a relative dead in the yard of his home Wednesday evening of this week at about four o'clock. He was lying partly under a wagon that he had been repairing. He had probably been dead for an hour and a half.

He is survived by his wife and six children, all of Humboldt. They are George, Asaph, Elwin, Bliss, Marvel Tompkins and Fern Grove. The funeral will be held at the M.E. church in Humboldt, Sunday, March 27, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Harry Hurns in charge.

April 1, 1938 - Humboldt Republican - Mrs. Anna Westberg and daughter Francis of Des Moines are spending a week at the home of their relative Mrs. Celia Lindstrum at Dakota City. They will spend a portion of the time at the home of their relatives Mr. and Mrs. John Ceder near Humboldt and will return home Sunday.

- Among those attending the funeral of A.E. Beebe on Sunday afternoon were as follows: Mrs. Mabel Burton of Chicago, a sister of Mr. Beebe; Mrs. Anna Westberg and daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. William Grant, and Mrs. Helen Morgan and daughter Mona of Des Moines, and son Johnnie Beebe of Fort Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Peterson of Rolfe; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Alexander of Laurens; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sprick of Fort Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fevold, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vinsand, Aaron Vinsand and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thorson, all of Badger.
