Ruth M. (Miller) Sensenig, 87, formerly of Reading and Sinking Spring, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville. She was the wife of the late LeRoy R. Sensenig, who died in 2000.

Born in Penn Twp., she was a daughter of the late John D. and Anna Maria (Wuest) Miller.

She was a member of Bern Reformed U.C.C., Leesport and First Church of God, Bushnell, FL.

She was a 1945 graduate of Penn Bernville High School and a 1948 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked as an RN Berks Visiting Nurses, having previously been employed by the Reading Hospital and Community General Hospital and Wernersville State Hospital.

She was the President of the Reading Hospital Alumni Nurses Association and a past president of Wernersville Senior Citizens. Ruth was also a member of Horizon’s Senior Citizens Club, Reading, and a life member of PA Nurses Association.

She is survived by a daughter, two sons, a sister, eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, Dec. 13th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with her pastor, the Rev. James Roth officiating. A viewing will be held 10-11:00AM, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Centre Union Cemetery, Bowmansville.
