Born September 9, 1929 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Arthur J. Sr. and Mary (Waldron) Mondor.
Arthur was raised and educated in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a staff sergeant during the Korean War.
Arthur worked as an I.S. Installation Technician for AT&T for over 32 years before his retirement. He was an avid golfer.
In addition to his wife, Arthur is survived by his two daughters, Darlene and her husband Russell Mobley of Attleboro and Lynn and her husband Kevin Foster of Pawtucket, RI; five grandchildren, Shannan, Ryan, Kaitlin, Kimberly and Laurie; four great grandchildren, Christopher, Alexa, Riley and Michael; and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Arthur was the brother of the late Betty Wightman and Eugene Mondor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 5– 8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 9 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 105 Stanley Street, Attleboro Falls, MA. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Life Care Center of Attleboro, 969 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
