She was the daughter Sheldon K. and Viola T.Murden. She was raised in Mount Vernon, NY and worked for Chemical Bank and Trust Company before moving to New Jersey in 1958. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Keyport, NJ for more than 50 years, she sang in and co-directed the church and school choir for many years. Devoted to her family, she also loved dogs, wild birds and her vast teddy bear collection. Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Philip F. Perry of Middletown, NJ; her children and their spouses: daughter Marianne P. Perry (Jeanette Laszynski) of Halfmoon, NY; and son Brian P. Perry (Janice) of Slatington, PA; her brother David T. Muurden (Ruth); two grandchildren, Candice Chase, Paul Keegan; five great grandchildren, Brian, Mikel, Alexandria Chase; Lilly, Ryan Keegan; in-laws Patricia and Gregory Gorman; many nieces and nephews and her cherished friend of 56 years, Claire Jones. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, an infant son Philip Michael, in-laws and her dear niece, Jane Marie Murden.
