Opal Oleta (Moon) Johnson went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2014. She was born February 10, 1922 to William and Mamy Moon in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She was raised in Tuttle and baptized as a young girl. She married Oscar Johnson on June 13, 1941 and they lived in south Oklahoma City until moving to Mustang in 1966. They were married 50 years and were blessed with six children. Opal and Oscar loved 5th wheel traveling until his death in 1991. Opal loved her grandchildren, music, chocolate, flowers, singing and the color red. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and garage sales. She was a charter member of Mustang Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters; Ruthie, Mary, Mina, Flora, Stella and brother Bill.

She is survived by her sister, Joanne Arterberry of Oklahoma City; her children, Ellis (Linda) Johnson of Moore, Eugene (Coleen) Johnson of Oklahoma City, Sharon (Doc) Billigmeier of Yukon, Paulette (Don) Templeman of Sunset, TX, Bill (Brenda) Johnson and Scot (Lisa) Johnson both of Mustang; her twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at Mustang Cemetery, 2:00 pm, December 10, 2014 under the direction of McNeil Funeral Services.
