Funeral services for Vera M. Lampo, 72 of East Moline, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., East Moline. Burial will at 1:30 p.m. at East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington, Ill.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Lampo died Monday, May 1, 2000, at her home.

Vera Bahan was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Bloomington Ill., the daughter of Elva and Della (Brown) Bahan. She married Edward C. Lipscomb Sr. in 1948 in Bloomington. She later married Jearl T. Kessinger in 1953 in Towanda, Ill. She later married Albert Lampo Sr. in 1993 in East Moline.

She had worked as an inspector for General Electric for 36 years, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include her husband, Albert; her sons and daughters-in-law, Edward C. and Teresa Lipscomb Jr. of Martinsville, Ill, Tracy A. and Donna Kessinger of Towanda, Ill.; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Gary Campagna of Mount Pine, Ark, Beth Lampo and Michael Hynes of East Moline; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Albert Lampo Jr. of Lac du Flambeau, Wis., Gerald and Terry Lampo of Hot Springs, Ark; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
