James I. Brickhouse Sr., 89, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center.
Born Jan. 29, 1905, in Forrest, to James A. and Ida Bell Moor Brickhouse, he married Izoria Pearson on Oct. 29, 1939, in Forrest City. She died Sept. 26, 1989, in Peoria. One brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are four sons, James Jr., Jonnie Lee, Willie, and Verdil; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Bertha) Fields and Mrs. Albert (Airalona) Jones; one brother, Napoleon Wallace Brickhouse; and one sister, Minnie Lee Hill.
He worked in maintenance at Springdale Cemetery.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
