Shirley Celestine Lilly McClure, 81, of Blue Ridge, died Thursday, September 14, 1995. She was a member of Montvale Baptist Church since 1947, and was retired from the Kroger Company. She was an honorary life member of the Old Dominion Knife Collector's Association. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, sons and daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, a sister, Funeral services will be conducted from Montvale Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 1995, with the Rev. A. C. Hollins officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Montvale Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
