Word has been received here of the death in Yakima, Monday night of Thomas J. Shelton, for many years a well-known Kittitas valley farmer.
Mr. Shelton has been ill since November and his death, a shock to his relatives and friends, was not unexpected.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Rebecca J. Shelton; a daughter, Mrs. W. A. Young of Zillah, and five sons, Charles R. Shelton of Eugene, Oregon, Charles R. Shelton of Eugene, Oregon, Floyd Shelton of Tieton and Clyde, Kenneth and Aubrey Shelton of Yakima.
