Last Rites Held For Mrs. Banker

BERKELEY, July 27. - Last rites were said this afternoon at Berg's Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Hattie Banker. 69, church and club worker, whose death occurred Wednesday night at her home, 2419 Ellsworth Street.
Mrs. Banker was a deaconess and member of the Woman's League of the First Baptist Church of Berkeley, and also a member of the Berkeley Women's City Club. She had resided in Berkeley since 1910 but for the last two years had been making her home in Mill Valley with her daughter, Marian, a Marin County teacher. She had returned to Berkeley to spend the Summer when her death occurred.

The widow of William Banker, Mrs. Banker is survived by four sons and three daughters , Arthur Banker of Oakland; Leon and Lester, Berkeley; Irving Banker, Chicago, who with his family departed for their home a few hours before his mother's death' Marian Banker, Mill Valley; Mrs. L. R. Wilson, Berkeley, and Marguerite Banker, Los Angeles.
Dr. Stacey Warburton of the Berkeley Baptist Divinity School conducted today's services, with interment following in Sunset View Cemetery.
