Florence was the second wife of Joseph J. Wernette, whom she married in Adrian, Lenawee County, Michigan on November 26, 1913. Florence and Joseph had two children, Margaret and Helen.

WERNETTE – Mrs. Florence E. Wernette, aged 78, the widow of Joseph J. Wernette, of 3560 Reeds Lake Blvd., SE, passed away at Blodgett Hospital Sunday afternoon.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edward A. (Marion) Rohloff, Mrs. Margaret Bott, both of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Irving P. (Helen Jane) Helmey, of Wayland, one sister Mrs. Leon Aitken, of Claredon Hills, Ill., two brothers, Knesley Culbert, of Saginaw, and Lyle, of Oradel, N.J., nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wernette was taken to the Metcalf Mortuary, where services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Robert J. Lignell of Faith Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment Restlawn Memorial Park.
