Eugene H. Bedetta, 62, of 59 Grantland Rd., a toolmaker for F. Ronci Inc., North Providence, for about 30 years, died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital, shortly after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Vincenza (Bifulco) Bedetta.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Errico and Marietta (Ricci) Bedetta.
Besides his wife, Mr. Bedetta leaves two daughters, Marion Moran of Detroit, Mich., and Carolyn L. Box of Cranston; a brother, Gilbert Bedetta of Cranston; three sisters, Gladys Gasbarino and Yolanda Bedetta, both of Cranston, and Mrs. Ronald McKenna of Jacksonville, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from V. J. Berarducci & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Broadway, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Mary Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
