Edna G. Bourassa , 91, formerly of Whalen Road, Providence, died Friday at the Warwick Health Center.
Born in Rutland, Vt., a daughter of the late Francis and Emma LaPorte, she lived in Providence most of her life.
She was a weaver for the A.D. Julliard Co., Providence, for 40 years before retiring in 1955. She was a member of the St. Jean Baptiste Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
Her only survivors are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Winfield Funeral Home, 94 Beach Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Timothy's Church, Warwick Avenue, at 9. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston.
