Paul F. Wilson: He's buried in Arkansas. Ancestry.com says he died of the flu and that his brother [Pvt. Jack Doby Tidball Findagrave memorial #55997473] was killed in action. If Charles's body was shipped home, it raises the question of why one brother would have been shipped home and the other left in France. Perhaps since one died of illness and the other was KIA the family felt the one KIA should remain with his comrades?
His brother is buried in Meuse Argonne cemetery in France.
