Another fine mother was called from our midst in the passing of Mrs. Geo. L'Ecuyer Sr. She suffered a severe stroke Wednesday afternoon and passed away Wednesday evening at the St. Joseph Hospital.
Memorial Services were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Father Weber officiating. Our Sympathy is extended to the family.
Mrs. L'Ecuyer was born at St. Joseph, Kas., March 11, 1880 and was 77 years of age.
Survivors are her husband; nine children: Mrs. John McConahey, Concordia; Mrs. Bill Demars, and Paul of Aurora; Regis of Clyde; Mrs. Harvey Harper, Clyde; Mrs. John Limbrey, Clifton; Mrs. Mike Baba, Wichita; Miss Madeline L'Ecuyer, Topeka; and Miss Cecelia L'Ecuyer, Washington, D. C., several grandchildren and other relatives.
