Sudden Death of E. J. NcNulty.

The people of this part of Mohave county were shocked and grieved yesterday morning to learn that E. J. McNulty had passed away at his home in Mineral Park the night before. The immediate cause of death was due to ptomaine poisoning from eating ice cream, the essential poison being tyrotoxicon that forms in impure milk, and especially in ice cream.

Dr. Whiteside was called and labored many hours to counteract the poisonous effect of the ptomaine, but without avail. Mr.

McNulty had resided in Mineral Park many years, having been superintendent of the mines of the Aztec Turquoise company the past ten years. He was known and admired by all the people of Walapai mining district for his manly ways, energy and sterling honesty.

He leaves to morn his loss a wife and four little children, a father and brothers.

The funeral will probably be held from the Opera House in Kingman tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The father, James P. McNulty, will arrive this evening and then all arrangements for the funeral will be perfected..
