Arnold Gustav Mueller, 94, of The Woodlands, passed away December 3, 2014. Visitation was held at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball. Funeral services were conducted at St. Mark Lutheran Church with Rev. David C. Quail officiating. Interment followed at Klein Memorial Park-Pinehurst.

Rev. Arnold G. Mueller, age 94, was called to his Heavenly Home on December 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife of the home, Bessie A. Mueller. He was born on May 5, 1920 in Yankton, SD, graduated from Concordia College, St. Paul MN followed by Concordia Seminary, St. Louis MO after which he was ordained as a minister in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. He served his Lord as a parish pastor for over 50 years in Lutheran churches in Michigan, Nebraska, New Mexico and Texas. After retirement he assisted a number of area Lutheran churches including his home congregation, St. Mark Lutheran Church, Conroe, TX.
In addition to his wife, Bessie, he is survived by his son Ronald Mueller and wife Susan and their sons Jeremy Mueller and Justin Mueller; son David Mueller and wife Gale and their children Kristy Brownell and husband Loren, Scott Mueller, Jason McGee, Jamie Manoles and husband Matt; also daughter-in-law Yvonne Mueller and son Jason Mueller; and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother Roland Mueller and wife Miriam and his sister Irene Ringers.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Ruby Buntrock Mueller who died April 1, 1995; parents Carl H. Mueller and Frieda Cloeter Mueller; son Robert Mueller; brother Paul Mueller and sister Ruth Workman.
He and Bessie Ann Summerall were married April 25, 1998 and was blessed with a bonus family including Bessie's children who survived him: son Bert Cody and wife Judy; daughter Barbara Whitt and husband Shain; daughter Deborah Jackson and husband Jerry; daughter Carolyn Henderson and husband Virgil; daughter Peggy Franklin and husband Travis as well as 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Bessie's son John Summerall and daughter Pamela Horn.
Funeral Services were held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2100 Tickner St., Conroe, TX at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014 with the graveside services following at 1:30 p.m., Klein Memorial Park, Hwy 249, Tomball, TX. Pallbearers will be Pastors of Lutheran Churches in the area. Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons Jason Mueller, Jeremy Mueller, Justin Mueller, Scott Mueller and Jason McGee. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Klein Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested toward the St. Mark Lutheran Church, Conroe, TX Seminarian Fund or the Lutheran Hour Ministries of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.
