Arthur McCune, 59, of 1236 North Union Street, was reported dead on arrival at Memorial hospital at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Cause of death had not been determined at noon Tuesday by the Allen County coroner, Dr. T. J. Talbott.

Mr. McCune was born in Logan-co and had been an employe of the Buckeye Machine Co. the last 35 years. For the last 10 years he had been a foreman at the company. Mr McCune was a member of the St. Marys Boat club.

Surviving are his widow, Venita; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Dearing, Buckland; Mrs. Guy McDermitt, St. Marys; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Kirby Greenup, No. 7 Superior-ct, and Mrs. Curtis Beasley, 123 S. Scott-st, a sister, Mrs. Daisy Hites, 1310 S. Union-st; four brothers, Lester, St. Marys; Frank, New Bremen; Edward, Wapakoneta, and Oscar, Quincy, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

The body will remain in Davis-Miller and Son funeral home for services at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Cathedral chapel. The Rev. Austin Whitmore will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
