Mrs. Annie Stransky, 80, of Francis Creek, lifelong resident of the town of Kossuth, died Sunday night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Thee Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Born Annie Peroutka Jan. 9, 1873, in the town of Kossuth, she was married to Albert Stransky Jan. 14, 1896. Shortly after their marriage they settled on a farm near Francis Creek which they operated until 25 years ago when Mr. Stransky retired and the couple moved to the village. He died 12 years ago and for the past two years Mrs. Stransky lived with her children. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Ann Church.
Surviving are a son, Wencel (Jim) of Francis Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Kubsh of Maribel., Mrs. Quirin Zeman of Fisherville and Mrs. Frank Muench of Kellnersville; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ann Church, Francis Creek, by the Christian Mothers Society and at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home by Father Rauch.
