KENNEDALE - B.J. "Joe" Davis, 70, a retired purchasing agent for HydraRig Inc., died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at home.
Memorial service: 5 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: at a later date in Sunset View Cemetery in Berkeley, Calif.
Memorials: The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Alfred DiStefano, M.D., and the entire staff at the Arlington Cancer Center, Dr. Tony H. Su and his staff at Texas Pulmonary Consultants and VITAS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Research Center of North Texas, 900 W. Randol Mill Road, Suite 204, Arlington, Texas 76012.
Survivors: Wife, Mary Davis of Kennedale; brothers, Frank Davis of Plano and Richard L. of Nampa, Idaho; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; his faithful dog "Sassy"; and special family, Lisa and Bill Burgess, and their daughters, Jennifer Burgess and Michelle Burgess.
