Thomas was born in Boston and raised and educated in Waltham. He worked for Boston Gas Company for 42 years and served as an officer in their union for many years before retiring in 1992. Tom was former President of the Holy Name Society and an usher at Star of the Sea Church in Squantum for many years. He was a devoted Catholic and dedicated family man who loved to entertain his family, especially on the fourth of July. He enjoyed dancing, sports, and had a special hobby of making and repairing rosary beads for family and friends. Tom was a proud Army Veteran who served his country in Germany and was a participant in the Berlin Air lift. The most important aspect of Tom's life was his family, he cherished and loved them with all of his heart. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved him. -
