Born November 1, 1935 in Niles Mich. Son of Edgar Ma and Grace Maude (Maxson) Sheldon. on June 25 1955 he married J.C. Annette Young. three Children Carol Ann Woods, Edgar Allen Sheldon, and Charles Lee Sheldon. 7 grand children Kerry Gene Woods, Sheldon Lee Woods, Matthew Allen Woods, Bridgette Lee Ann Sheldon, Stephanie Jo Sheldon, Kori Elizabeth sheldon, Theodore James sheldon. one great grand child Aiden Lee Sheldon- Sparks.
Mr. Sheldon was Captain of th Weesaw fire department for several years and a member of the Hagar township fire department for many years before. he was a minister and a member of the Niles Church of Jesus Christ. he also served on the Weesaw township Zoning Board. he was a General contractor untill his fight with cancer.
His siblings were Erma Lucille (Sheldon) Baird 1917-1967, Orvill William Sheldon 1918-1919, Doris Amanda (Sheldon) Inggleright 1922-1993, Infant Sheldon (girl) 1923-1923,and Winogene Sheldon 1927-1927.
