Henry Buford Alcorn, age 102, of Wisemantown Road in Irvine passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born September 8, 1912 in Estill County and was the son of the late Henry and Louisa Tipton Alcorn. He was a retired Carhartt, Inc. employee and a member of the Wisemantown Methodist Church. He had lived in Estill County all of his life.

1 Step-Son: Arthur Gene Ballard & wife, Janice, Irvine
3 Grandchildren; 2 Step-Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; 3 Step-Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by 6 sisters; Etta Colter, Ellen Rogers, Eva Alcorn, Carrie Wiseman, Clara Miracle and Rebecca Alcorn and 5 brothers; Vernon, Virgil, John, Tom and Clarence Alcorn.
Funeral services at the Wisemantown Methodist Church by Bro. Jerry Beck and Bro. Greg McClellan. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
