BARNEVELD — Luella Irene Harpold, age 77, of Barneveld, died on Tuesday, August 28, 1990, at her residence after a recent Illness. She was born on December 30, 1912, in Spirit Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter, of Joseph and Verna (Thompson) Durkee. She married Richard Harpold on August 23, 1927, and he preceded her in death on July 30, 1975. She was a Barneveld resident for over 30 years.
She is survived by four daughters, Marlene (Virgil) Vrbsky of Chetek, Geraldlne (George) Stanek of Hillsboro/ Dorothy Garner of Mineral Point and Bernlta (Paul) Schroeder of Madison; two sons, Richard (Margie) Harpold of Billings, Montana and Leonard (Sherry) Harpold of Lincoln, Nebraska; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Marie Burchell of Franksvllle; two brothers, Basil Durkee of Elroy and Donald (Alva) Durkee of Union Grove; several nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Burial will be In the White Cemetery, rural Barneveld on Saturday, September 1, 1990.
