FLOSSIE JEAN ALLEN, a 'people's person' was born on July 17, 1951, in Fresno, California, to Helen Frances Copple and Joe Noisey. She was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, 2006, and her passing devastated all that knew her. Flossie loved giving theme patties, sharing laughs, and creating memories. She also enjoyed riding her motorcycle and allowing her long hair to blow in the wind.

Flossie worked at Fresno County as a Job Specialist in the Independent Living Skills program and cherished working in youth emancipation from foster care. Her passion was to mentor them to be assets to society, to lead beneficial lives, and to leave behind those abusive memories that brought them into protective custody.

A Native American woman (Cherokee), she was proud of her ancestry and customs and believed in the Red Road spiritual path.

Flossie is survived by her beloved husband Bob; children, Ronda and Jimmy; grandchildren, Timothy and Joshua; sisters Betty, Julia, and Mary; and brothers Donald, Tommy, and Billie. She also leaves behind the friendships of a multitude of friends and co-workers.

Family and friends are respectively invited to celebrate Flossie's life and pay tribute to the contributions she made to family, friends, and to society through her volunteer work with the homeless, emotionally unstable, and to incarcerated women to whom she sought to bring hope. The memorial will be held at Sierra Vista Methodist Church in Fresno.

Private Interment will be completed in Kiowa, Oklahoma.
(Possibly at Noisey Cemetery with ancestors. Also known as Tee Hee Cemetery and War Seat Cemetery in Gore, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, USA)
