Dr. Huey P. Claybrook, age 85, died Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Funeral service will Friday, September 3, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Roger S. Oldham officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at the church beginning at 9:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00.

Dr. Claybrook is survived by his wife, Nancy Young Claybrook, and his son, Dr. Phillip (Cristin) Claybrook of Bristol, VA; two granddaughters, Caroline and Catherine Claybrook; one sister, Mary Evelyn Cheshier of Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Claybrook was a retired veterinarian. He owned and operated Weakley County Animal Clinic in Martin for many years. He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Auburn University. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Claybrook and Bessie Crowley Claybrook; sister, Katherine Fitzgerald; two brothers, Harry Claybrook and James Claybrook.
