Claude Ray Thompson- age 86 of Loudon passed away Saturday evening, December 13, 2014. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Loudon Post. Claude was a longtime farmer. Preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Sarah Thompson; sisters, Helen and Wilma; brothers, Kenneth, Earl and Don.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Lee Thompson; daughter and adored son-in-law, Deb and Bob Ferguson; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Denise Thompson all of Loudon; grandchildren: Clare Ferguson, Emalee (Corey) Cantrell, Justin Thompson, Ashley Thomas and husband; great grandchildren: Ronin, Rylee, Scarlet and Liam along with several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City and proceed to the Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services and interment. Full military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veteran Honor Guard. Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
