Alicia M. Frantz, 62, of Moore Township, formerly of Walnutport, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Hospice VNA of St. Lukes Lower Saucon Township, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Darwin D. Frantz with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage this past December 24. Born in Allentown, on December 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Millan) Buzinski. Alice was a graduate of Slatington High School and the former Allentown Business School where she earned a medical assistant degree. Prior to her illness, she worked for St. Lukes Orthopedic Surgical Group in Fountain Hill since 2004. Previously she worked for Allen Neurosurgical and Gino & Jacks. Alicia enjoyed crocheting and ceramics. She was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ Church of Slatington.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Darwin, she is survived by a son, Steven C. Frantz and his wife, Kerrie of Walnutport; a step-daughter, Donna Wingle of Wescoesville; two brothers, James Buzinski and his wife, Marianne of Slatington and Charles Buzinski, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn of Allentown; a granddaughter, Sarah Frantz; and a grandson, Sean Diebert; nieces and nephews.
Services: Will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
