Born April 25, 1890 in Sheffield, Texas, he died at his home, 1653 Pine St. in Miami. He was a watchman and carpenter for Miami Copper Company. He had lived in Arizona since 1918, and in Miami since 1921.
He was survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Brice and Mrs. Mary Smith, both of Miami, and Mrs. Ethel Luckie of Phoenix; two sons, James L and Harold, both of California; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
